Quince – Community Comadres

Community Comadres will host its inaugural Community Quinceañera on March 8th, 2024.

This annual gala will be our signature fundraiser each year. The goal is to not only create a vibrant night of networking with community leaders, influencers, and enjoy a night out with friends and family. We will also honor a significant cultural milestone that’s celebrated in many Latin American countries and the United States, while directly investing in our community and recognizing an incredible and deserving Quinceañera (teen).

Our Quinceañera will be selected through a nomination process and set criteria.

They will be the guest of honor and receive the right of passage celebration that they may not have been able to otherwise have. We’ll also award her with a $5,000 scholarship to pursue their postsecondary higher education upon completion of high school.

The night will also include a plated dinner, open bar for 21+ plus, interactive experiences, dancing, and giving back to a good cause. Don’t wait to buy your tickets, it will be a night to remember!

2024 QUINCEAÑERA SCHOLARSHIP

Community Comadres is excited to announce its ‘Quinceañera Scholarship’ program for teens experiencing financial hardship who hope to pursue a postsecondary education. This $5,000 merit-based scholarship will be awarded to one deserving student in the Valley as part of the organization’s inaugural ‘Community Quinceañera’ fundraiser gala on Friday, March 8, 2024.

The Quinceañera Scholarship is open to Phoenix metro area students ages 14-17 who intend to pursue a postsecondary education in the U.S. upon completion of high school (including trade school, community college, four-year university, or any other accredited institution). We welcome and strongly encourage applications from diverse students throughout the Valley who may be experiencing financial hardship and meet the eligibility criteria, regardless of abilities or legal status.

Community Comadres will select an exceptional and deserving student through a thoughtful application process and set criteria. The scholarship recipient will also be honored at Community Comadres’ inaugural ‘Community Quinceañera’ gala on Friday, March 8, 2024. As the honorary Quinceañera of the gala, the scholarship recipient will also receive attire for the evening, photography, transportation, and the opportunity to invite up to 10 friends and family members to the gala.
